Edwin Jeans were founded in 1947 by Mr Tsunemi through his passion for quality denim and jeans.
Originally Edwin Jeans were made in the USA and not manufactured in Japan until 1951 but the jeans came with a very hefty price tag at this time. Over the years Edwin Jeans developed and new styles and denims were developed including rainbow selvage which is now still famously used to make Edwin ED47 Jeans amongst other styles.
The name EDWIN Jeans comes from the letters of DENIM but the M is reversed to make the W, this was thought up in 1961 by Tsunemi.
Now over 60 years after Edwin Jeans were first made they are still produced to the same high standards using the finest denims available coming in various washes, cuts and weights of denim and popular classic styles include Nashville, ED47, ED75, ED55 and ED80 to name a few.
